Okay Tumblr, I’ve never been one to ask for help, but this is my cat, my baby, Zidane. Currently he’s being hospitalized for bladder stone/bladder crystallization, by some of my close friends who are taking care of him. As much as I wish I could be there with him, I can’t. Because of life events that happened within the span of the first week in February, (Me getting kicked out of my father’s home, my mother being arrested, etc) I’m stuck in Florida living with my girlfriend Ai and her mother until me and Ai can get back home to San Antonio, Texas (We are hoping to go back in June). Zidane was supposed to come with me to Florida, but the night we had to leave he became extremely ill, again because of the crystallization that started forming in his bladder, and I had to leave him behind with friends Maddy , Nick, and Jason, otherwise Zidane would have never made it through the night, let alone the road trip. Jason was generous to cover the first vet bill, $400 for which I still owe him and am forever grateful. However he, nor can I, or any of us, even think to cover these next round of vet bills. This is why I’m coming to you, Tumblr, for help.
We need to raise $1,800. This will cover his hospitalization, urine/blood tests, and a procedure that will unblock his urethral canal/get rid of crystals building in his bladder. With the tests being done, the vets are hoping to figure out why it keeps happening, and hope to keep this crystallization from happening again for a very long time with the procedure.
This is one of my children; I don’t want to lose him before I even get to see him again. Just letting him go the night I left my home city was painful enough. He’s a really loving cat with a personality like that I’ve never seen before. He will talk to you if you talk to him, if you’re crying he will become very concerned and meow at you until you let him into your lap so he can pitter-patter you and purr until you’re smiling again. He likes to burry himself into piles of bras because he’s a little pervert, and loves to sleep in the bed with you at night. He never bites or growls…Zidane is just a sweetheart and I love him. I’ve had him through some of the toughest years of my life, when I had to deal with trouble at home, Zidane was there to comfort me. I want to do everything I can to help him.
